I am a Carolina girl through and through, and nothing brings me more joy than setting a beautiful table. I love designing floral arrangements and pairing them with beautiful table decor. Growing up in South Carolina, my parents instilled in me a love for the natural beauty that surrounded us, from the iris and peonies in our yard to the gardenias and magnolias that graced our home.
My mother is a natural hostess, and I always loved helping her set the table with beautiful linens, china, flatware, and glassware. She believed that food tasted better when served on a beautiful plate, and her attention to detail was something that stayed with me.
Now, as a floral designer, I am able to combine my love of hosting events, flowers, and beautiful dishes into one passion. After retiring from a 30-year career as a public school teacher and librarian, I am able to devote my time and energy to helping others create joyous and beautiful celebrations that showcase the southern hospitality and natural beauty that I have known all my life.

With a lifelong love of hosting events, from teas and bridal showers to anniversary parties and weddings, I have honed my skills in event and floral design. My love of entertaining comes from helping my mother gather and arrange flowers for her parties and becoming the BBQ chopper for
my father, who was often the caterer for these gatherings!
After college, I married my husband and became a busy mom to two beautiful daughters, continuing to help host events and grow my skills. After 30 years as a teacher/librarian in the public school system, I am eager to bring my passion for entertaining and floral design to your special occasion.
With my local roots and community connections, I am uniquely positioned to help you create the event of your dreams. From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, I can help you create the perfect ambiance with stunning floral arrangements that will leave a lasting impression on yourguests.
